Apply to be a pattern tester!

Do you love crocheting and want access to exclusive, unreleased patterns? Becoming a pattern tester might be the perfect opportunity for you!

What is a Pattern Tester?

As a pattern tester, you play a vital role in refining my crochet designs. While I work hard to create these patterns, your feedback ensures they are accurate, error-free, and fit as intended.

My Expectations as a Designer

I ask that you read each pattern carefully before beginning, making sure you fully understand the instructions. If anything seems unclear or incorrect, please reach outโ€”I rely on your honest feedback! I welcome your genuine input, even if itโ€™s tough (I can take it!). Communication is essential: if you run into any issuesโ€”whether with the pattern, timing, or life in generalโ€”please just let me know.

Requirements for Pattern Testers

โ€ข Provide your own materials

โ€ข Follow the pattern instructions closely, except where noted otherwise

โ€ข Take well-lit, visually appealing photos and videos of your work

โ€ข Help promote the pattern on its release day

โ€ข Complete the project within the agreed timeframe (let me know if you canโ€™t meet the deadline)

โ€ข Maintain an open Instagram account

Benefits of Becoming a Pattern Tester

As a tester, youโ€™ll get exclusive, early access to my new designs. Youโ€™ll join a community of fellow crochet enthusiasts, sharing experiences and learning from each other. Upon release, Iโ€™ll credit your work on all my social platforms, putting it in front of thousands of crochet lovers. When the pattern is finalized, youโ€™ll receive a free copy of the final draft as a thank-you. Plus, after completing three tests, you can choose one of my designs for free, and youโ€™ll enjoy a 20% discount on any patterns youโ€™d like to purchase. And last but not least you will get an opportunity to get fully or partly sponsored if using the same yarn thatโ€™s I used in a project.

What to Expect as a Tester

If selected, youโ€™ll receive an email confirming your participation, along with the first part of the pattern and instructions for creating a gauge swatch. Weโ€™ll stay connected in an Instagram group chat, where you can share updates and photos. Once your swatch is complete (within seven days), youโ€™ll receive the next part of the pattern. Continue to send progress photos at each stage.

When your piece is finished, youโ€™ll submit a feedback form and provide well-lit photos, flat lays, and a short video showcasing the finished design. These images are essential to show how the design looks on different body types, so an open Instagram account is required.

Once youโ€™ve completed all steps, youโ€™ll receive the finalized pattern and begin earning rewards for future free patterns. Ready to join our creative community? Apply now, and letโ€™s create something beautiful together!
