Help bring Mediterranea to life

Join me in creating a collection inspired by Mediterranean summers and life by the sea.

I’m looking for a small group of up to 10 crochet testers, across different sizes, to help shape my upcoming Mediterranea Collection. Expect six garment patterns, mainly summer sets, and around six accessory patterns, including bags, hats, and raffia pieces, created with Lana Gatto yarns Silky and Sugar and Rookies raffia.

This will be a collaborative experience, with opportunities to share your feedback, join calls, and take part in the design process as the collection develops.

How it will work

Selected testers will receive an invitation to a private group chat, where I’ll share collection updates and introduce the designs. You’ll be able to choose which pieces you’d like to test, you won’t be expected to make the whole collection.

Testing will begin in late November 2026 and continue through early June 2027, with a 6–8 week testing period for each individual piece. Testers will have access to discount codes offering up to 50% off Lana Gatto yarns and Rookies raffia.

I’m looking for people who can commit to their chosen testing deadlines, communicate throughout the process, and share thoughtful feedback on fit and instructions.

A secret we’ll keep together

The collection will remain private until April 2027, and every design must stay confidential until I give explicit approval to share it. This includes photos, videos, works in progress, and even the smallest sneak peek, whether on social media or elsewhere.

Finishing your piece or reaching April does not automatically mean you can post it. We’ll coordinate sharing together, so each design gets its moment.

What is a Pattern Tester?

As a pattern tester, you play a vital role in refining my crochet designs. While I work hard to create these patterns, your feedback ensures they are accurate, error-free, and fit as intended.

My Expectations as a Designer

I ask that you read each pattern carefully before beginning, making sure you fully understand the instructions. If anything seems unclear or incorrect, please reach out, I rely on your honest feedback! I welcome your genuine input, even if it’s tough (I can take it!). Communication is essential: if you run into any issues, whether with the pattern, timing, or life in general, please just let me know.

Requirements for Pattern Testers

• Provide your own materials

• Follow the pattern instructions closely, except where noted otherwise

• Take well-lit, visually appealing photos and videos of your work

• Help promote the pattern on its release day

• Complete the project within the agreed timeframe (let me know if you can’t meet the deadline)

• Maintain an open Instagram account

Upon release, I’ll credit your work on all my social platforms, putting it in front of thousands of crochet lovers. And last but not least you will get an opportunity to get fully or partly sponsored if using the same yarn that’s I used in a project.

What to Expect as a Tester

If selected, you’ll receive an email confirming your participation, along with the first part of the pattern and instructions for creating a gauge swatch. We’ll stay connected in an Instagram group chat, where you can share updates and photos. Once your swatch is complete (within seven days), you’ll receive the next part of the pattern. Continue to send progress photos at each stage.

When your piece is finished, you’ll submit a feedback form and provide well-lit photos, flat lays, and a short video showcasing the finished design. These images are essential to show how the design looks on different body types, so an open Instagram account is required.

Once you’ve completed all steps, you’ll receive the finalized pattern and begin earning rewards for future free patterns. Ready to join our creative community? Apply now, and let’s create something beautiful together!
