Crochet Designer · Founder & Host

Enida is the crochet designer behind yarnS and the founder and host of the Creative Crochet Retreat. Her work focuses on crochet garments, exploring modern construction and thoughtful design.

She created the retreat as a space where designers, testers and crochet creators can slow down, deepen their skills and learn from one another. Her vision celebrates crochet as a creative, professional and evolving practice, while building connections between makers and the brands that support their work—opening opportunities for collaborations rooted in shared values.

Throughout the retreat, Enida will be there to welcome, guide and support participants, from the first introductions to the final shared moments.

Retreat & Hospitality Coordinator

Jazz - Jasmine only when she’s in trouble! - lives in the UK, where she balances full-time work with being a mum to three energetic, creative children. With Jamaican and Italian heritage, she has a love of food, culture and discovering new places.

Taught by her beloved Nanny, Jazz has been crocheting for 11 years, finding moments to pick up her hook wherever life allow. Bright colours make her smile, especially her favourite, yellow.

A people person, Jazz loves bringing others together. During the retreat, she’ll help participants feel welcome, comfortable and part of the community. Combining crochet, connection and exploring somewhere new is her ultimate happy place, and she looks forward to sharing it with you.

Content Creator & Visual Storyteller

Mahira is the crochet designer behind CickaDesign. Her work brings together crochet, visual storytelling and thoughtful presentation, with a focus on communicating the creativity and craftsmanship behind each piece.

During the retreat, Mahira will help participants explore how they present and share their work. Through practical guidance, hands-on exercises and examples from her own creative process, she will support them in developing content that reflects their individual style and makes their work easier to understand and connect with.

Her approach encourages designers and makers to share their crochet with clarity, intention and confidence across social media, portfolios and professional spaces.

Retreat photographer

Chelsea is the retreat’s photographer and videographer, and the creative eye behind Prone to Wander Photography. With a calm, editorial approach, she will document the retreat as it unfolds, capturing both the quiet, in-between moments of the creative process and the finished work as it takes shape.

Present throughout the retreat, Chelsea’s work supports storytelling, content creation, and portfolio building. She will also offer dedicated one-to-one photo sessions with each participant, allowing space for more personal, intentional imagery. Each participant will leave with a considered selection of high-quality images and video that reflect not only their finished pieces, but also their process, presence, and the atmosphere of the retreat itself.
